* Many Internet users believe their "unlimited" account lets them surf the Internet, send large email attachments and download as many movies and songs as they choose. However it is well documented by the media that many Internet Service Providers, both in the U.S. and elsewhere, do in fact set definite usage limits, even though they may advertise to the contrary. Some will take drastic measures like termination of an account without any advance warning, if these limits are exceeded. DU Meter can create detailed reports of the total network traffic volume on your computer and can alert you if certain limits are surpassed. DU Meter was designed from the ground up to be very light on system resources usage. It should have negligible impact on your computer's performance, and any computer that can run a supported version of Windows, can run DU Meter.
DU Meter supports Windows Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000.
Although DU Meter is 32-bit application, it runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. On 64-bit Windows all functions are supported except Vista sidebar integration.
